The Buller District Council has adopted the West Coast Regional Walking and Cycling Strategy. This stategy has been developed by the 3 District Councils and the Regional Council, along with the New Zealand Transport Agency, and Community and Public Health under the guide of the Regional Transport Committee. The purpose of this document is to provide a framework that will guide those taking local action to improve the conditions for those walking and cycling in the region.
