Welcome to our library!

The library is a great place to read, meet, get information, study, learn or just browse around. Here at the Buller district library, we offer a wide range of books, magazines, DVD's and electronic information for all ages. We offer access to online resources and databases, and provide email, photocopying and fax facilities. We also run childrens programmes and holiday activities.

Buller district libraries provide their public library services at two main locations in Buller. The district library is located in Westport and there is a branch library in Reefton.

The library network also consists of five voluntary community libraries in Granity, Inangahua, Karamea, Maruia and Seddonville.

Our library staff are keen to meet your needs. Our librarians are here to help you. Ask - and we will do our best to find the information that you want.
