The Annual Report is published every year to communicate how we performed against our plans for that particular year and includes details of any significant variances in operational and capital expenditure. The Annual Report provides information about Council's financial performance and position, service performance levels and progress on major projects.
Council’s most recent Annual Report is for the financial year ending 30 June 2010 and reports against the first year contained within the 2009-19 Long Term Plan. Both the Annual Report for 2009/10 and the Annual Report Summary have been examined by the Council's external auditor on behalf of the Auditor General and received an unqualified opinion.
A CD version of the Annual Report can be made available to you by contacting Council’s office on 03 788 9111. Council is aware of the significant cost of producing each hard copy. It considers that by making the document primarily available electronically, it can reduce costs, as well as being more environmentally considerate.
